Developed Transportation Plan
I worked to develop the county’s first Countywide Transportation Master Plan—bringing together all 39 cities, the county, the state, and the school board around one blueprint. I fought to protect Tri-Rail and delivered new traffic signals, crosswalks, and $3 million in funding for sidewalks near schools.
PROTECTED TAXPAYERS
I refused to rubber-stamp spending. I pushed to pause the gas tax and took the county budget directly to residents through a district-wide Property Tax Tour because residents deserve to understand how their tax dollars are being spent.
SUPPORTED WORKFORCE HOUSING
I created the Homebuyer Match Program, which provides up to $50,000 in matched down payment assistance for first-time workforce buyers. The best part? This program is not taxpayer-funded; it’s funded by developer payments.
FOUGHT FOR WORKERS & VETERANS
I worked to launch a countywide Internship Portal and skilled-trades pathways to keep our talent home. I also worked with my colleagues to create a Veterans Advisory Committee serving over 70,000 local veterans.
